MicroDucts and FuturePath

MicroDucts are small diameter conduits ranging from 5-22mm OD that provide a pathway for fiber cables. They are a natural evolution of standard conduits as space in networks is a premium and as new technologies develop, they typically decrease in size. FuturePath is two or more MicroDucts bundled under an oversheath. Both products can be installed using standard Outside Plant (OSP) installation methods in common applications. Chose the correct product by application and installation method listed below.

MicroDucts LSZH
Dura-Line was the first to pioneer this technology and introduce it to the U.S. market. LSZH Conduit and MicroDucts, ETL verified to UL1685-4 and IEC 60754-1, exhibit excellent properties such as low flame propagation, low smoke generation, zero halogen emissions, and excellent low temperature mechanical properties. They are designed for use in applications where smoke, toxic fumes, and acidic gas pose a health risk and possible damage to electronic equipment. Examples include enclosed public areas and poorly ventilated areas such as tunnels, mass transit corridors, behind-the-wall, control rooms, and confined spaces.
FuturePath Flex
Leading the way in MicroDuct Technology, we developed FuturePath Flex to meet specific MDU and saw cut (MicroTrenching) installation requirements. FuturePath Flex's preconfigured bundles will save on installation time and add versatility and expansion opportunities to your network.
FuturePath
MicroDuct is bundled into an easy-to-handle unit known as FuturePath. FuturePath can be installed just like standard duct: open trench, aerial, directional drilled, plowed or pulled into an existing conduit. When branching individual MicroDucts, there is no need for a special branching box. No special tools or equipment are required for installation.
MicroDucts Riser
Great for MDU applications, our Riser MicroDucts are made from fire retardant materials which are fully ETL approved for Riser applications per UL-2024 and UL-94-V2. Preinstalled Pull String is available for quick fiber installations. A SILICORE lining makes the cable installation even easier without using wet lubes inside buildings.
FuturePath Armored
FuturePath Armored is designed to provide superior mechanical protection against rodents, ballistics, crush, chemicals, and moisture penetration in a direct bury or aerial application. The corrugated steel armor is coated with a corrosion-resistant copolymer and bonded with the HDPE jacket for superior protection in rugged environments.
MicroDucts Plenum
Dura-Line, the leader in MicroDuct technology has developed Plenum MicroDucts specifically for your MDU needs. Plenum MicroDucts are made from fire retardant materials which are fully ETL approved for Plenum applications per UL-2024 and UL-94-VO.
FuturePath Hybrid
FuturePath configuration consisting of two or more different sizes of conduit and or MicroDucts. A perfect choice for customers who have needs to run micro cables and larger standard fiber cables at the same time, or would like to plan for future possibilities.
FuturePath Jumbo
FuturePath configuration consisting of 2, 3, or 4 conduits, available in a selection of sizes and wall types. A perfect choice for customers who would like to plan for future possibilities using larger standard fiber cables
FuturePath Figure-8
For a fast installation and the lowest deployment cost, nothing beats FuturePath Figure-8 Self-Support. Constructed with factory bundled MicroDucts and a polyethylene oversheath that incorporates a 1/4" Extra High Strength Galvanized Steel Strand.
FuturePath Riser
FuturePath Riser rated products are used within buildings in either vertical or horizontal back bone applications or directly to workstations as drops.
