PowerGuard® Flex
PowerGuard® Flex is lightweight continuous length conduit for direct bury or concrete encasement. This product is ideal for all buried cables up to and including 69kv. Currently pending CSA C22.2 #327-18 electrical standard approval. Available in sizes 53mm (2") -103mm (4")
Features
- PowerGuard® Flex is produced to the CSA Standards of C22.2 NO.327 for electrical applications
- PowerGuard® Flex is made of virgin HDPE compound with a minimum cell classification of PE334420C or E in accordance with ASTM D3350
- Suitable for use with low, medium, and high voltage cables
- Can be installed everywhere CSA certified PVC conduit or duct can be installed
- Unlike PVC duct, PowerGuard® Flex HDPE conduit is extruded in continuous lengths (diameter dependent) allowing for installation by open trench and plowing in a continuous length with minimal glued joints
- Flexible: Reduces/eliminates sweeps and bends
- Crush resistant: Equivalent to Schedule 40 PVC
- Lightweight: Easier installation, 40% lighter than PVC
- Compatibility: Easily adapts to other conduit materials
- Glueless Coupling: The gasketed, air and water tight coupler offers a quick and safe assembly
